Sandrock Gardens
The images below were from 1898 auction plans drawn up by Harrie Stacey, a local estate agent. Its shows the road clearly branching off into a cul-de-sac, Sandrock Gardens. Today, a similar outcrop of houses - the Victoria Almshouses - is situated a little further around the corner towards the junction with the A25, Reigate Road.
