Jazz in and around Reigate

As if from nowhere, in 2009, a small jazz scene started to take hold in and around Reigate. Firstly, The Black Horse pub on the road out of Reigate towards Dorking (just before the Heath) started to put on monthly jazz nights. Then, POST in Banstead started a monthly jazz, swing and blues night. Then rumours of jazz in Pizza Express.

For anyone who has not seen Noel Joyce, a fantastic Reigate jazz drummer playing Art-Blakey-esque with his various bands at the Black Horse, this is a must-see. Equal to paid gigs at Ronnie Scott's most months.

If you know of any jazz playing in or around Reigate, please get in touch via the contact page and let us know. We'll post it here.
